2 mile run tonight, went out aiming to do the first mile under 14 mins and then just whatever I could manage after that. Ended up with first mile 13:33, and the 2nd 13:48 (which included going over the railway bridge :-o). Feeling very pleased with myself right now :-)

Quiet in here this week.

I'm back in the game now, picked up my new trainers on Tuesday, ran on Wednesday (in old ones due to planned possible puddles ;-) ) and christened them on last night's club run - another one saying 4.62 which was 5.35. It'll be touch and go whether i reach the 700 again. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Good luck hitting the target ar - how far off are you?

I've just noticed that I've now logged 11 miles more this year than my previous highest mileage back which was back in 2009 :-O I'm 55 miles off my target of 240 for the year and with just over 7 weeks to go think I should just scrape it!! Looking at 400+ for next year :-)

I'm still grotty so haven't run this week, I'm on holiday from tomorrow for 2 weeks :) Langkwai in Malaysia so wont be running! I'm ahead of my 400 miles for the year target at the mo but wont be upon my return. Hopefully I can just scrape it with a house move and Christmas and all that jazz! If not though I have already hit record mileage.

1) Keep doing my leg exercises and add ankles to the plan
2) Cto5k/10k my way
3) Concentrate on 5k then 10k times
4) Try to get to +300 miles in a year (plus 1000 walking miles)
5) Arrive at the BH marathon start line fit and healthy, and have fun whilst covering the challenge

1) to start building some strength and flexibility work into my week
2) to get back in to walking every day for at least 30 mins
