Hello, reporting in with a new milestone - ran 5k this evening :-) Ran the first mile then decided to do R4/W2 for the rest as my back had tightened up a bit. After a couple of reps I forgot to stop running after 4 mins so just carried on running to the end :-) Feeling rather pleased with myself now, but at the same wondering what I need to do to get quicker!

Following on from above - took the middle mile as my SAP mile for July (first mile is quicker, but Garmin always seems to go a bit weird at the beginning of all my runs so not sure it's accurate!!). This is exactly the same as last month, but then I am running further now.

Well done kwala, I'm always wondering how to get quicker! ;-)

LG, get through today and try and enjoy your holiday. Get out for some days - go walking in the Highlands, swimming in the sea, don't spend your whole time painting fences and decking. :)

My sister arrived on Wednesday evening and talks at me all the time so it's impossible to think or concentrate on Fetch. She'll be here for 2 weeks and we're off to London this morning for TBC tomorrow then going to Wales for a few days. I'll be on my tablet so will try and look in when I get a chance.

Keep up your running mojos everyone and see you on the other side. :)

Well done kwala! I'm not terribly likely to get quicker now, to do so would mean running on the ragged edge of my breathing which I intensely dislike. I'm concentrating on increasing my distance which I can do and still breathe comfortably.

I'm getting slower all the time, mainly because I only run so it feels "nice", as soon as it starts to be an unpleasant experience I ease off. I'd love to be able to take pleasure in a gut-busting run but I just don't. I'm a bimbler who sometimes bimbles a fair distance.
