chuckie talk has had me chucking! I particularly liked kwala's comment about not getting it mixed up :-)

Good weekend in the mulbs household, managed a decent length run on Saturday (thanks for comment on my training AR) and then boogied away for a couple of hours at Nell's Jazz and Blues club in West Kensington, where the New Power Generation did a blistering set - I sweated more than I've ever sweated before, my top was wringing wet when it finished (TMI?). So much dancing and singing my head off :-)

Kwala they were phenomenal. What really worked was that they just came out on stage and blasted it from the very beginning, they didn't do the "we're here today to celebrate our brother . . .", they just came out and played and it was a small venue but a really engaged audience who sang and danced their hearts out. Just fab. Obviously the purple one was missed but he left a good legacy. If you ever get the chance take it. A very different evening to the Morris Day and The Time gig I went to last year, very funky, big fun!

Hello AR :-) on Saturday I've got to hand over the relay baton at Ellenbrook Park parkrun in Hatfield . . . and then I'm at a U2 gig in Twickenham on Saturday night (get me and my rock'n'roll lifestyle!)

pushing my luck with my very patient family about the chunk of the weekend I spend running as it is I think, I'd love to do a Thames Bridges thing next year or later this year but for the next two months I need to use potential travel time as running time i think, September's Thames Path 100k is creeping up on me! (I'll be running a chunk of the Thames Path from Hampton Court onwards on Thursday daytime if anyone's around though . . . giving my mother-in-law a lift to the flower show so killing two birds with one stone)

Nutso Lazytoad!
Morning guys off to sunny Lisbon today just sat in the airport then to Porto from there. No running will be done as it will be too warm and can't be bothered lol plenty of swimming though when in Porto and tons of walking will be done.

Went to the Physio again on Monday, excercises changed now got one for my hip and glute too!! 😡 Ffs. He seems to think things are coming together and as it's not stopping me running I guess he is right, infact I know he is I'm just frustrated!

Have a fab couple of weeks I will keep logging and popping in.
