I should, I am very pale skinned blonde, been awake a lot in the night with sore legs. We meant to try P20 after reading those comments on the 700 mile thread but didn't get round to it... No more marathons for me til October now anyway, though after yesterday I really CBA with any more. Hmmn, will probably feel different in a week or two!

L10 - I wonder how long it will be before your finger slips on the keyboard and whoops, you've entered another marathon - seems to be a common problem in Fetchland!!

I had a really good run this morning. I am even starting to get over how slow I am. I managed 19 mins of running (with some walk breaks obvs!) and am really excited that it won't be too long before I'll be able to run a mile nonstop :-) Onwards and upwards :-)

Lem, you could stick to halfs from now on. ;-)

kwala, that's good. :)

Nut, that's not a million miles from me, just the other side of the Island, enjoy new horizons - at least it's flat round there. :)

I went out with the club ladies this morning and did 6 miles. My legs felt quite heavy for the last mile or 2. I've been looking at half marathon training plans and they all seem to bang on about paces - I'm no good with pacing. I do think that I need to do more longer runs each week and some kind of interval training. The problem with club runs is that you turn up and select a distance, which for me always turns out to be 4 so I'll have to stop going to as many sessions, I always get left behind anyway. :-p

AR I know nothing about pacing...I just seem to run and it falls into place. I would like to go out with someone for invervals and whatever else you should try. I did notice Fenners on the run/walk do a great time on a marathon sonthink I should try that.
I have a 10k on Tuesday and next Sunday, been bet on for Tuesday;-) which is the flatter of the 2 but a 7pm race messes with my head.

3 lots of 2+1 reps ticked off this week. Not sure it was a good idea good idea after a heavy Pilates session but I live to tell the tale. Week 2 = 3+1 reps for 3 miles, and hopefully a 5 miler over the weekend!
