Wombling Plodder (Welsh Womble)
Hope the drinking 🍻 head is OK Nutso :-p

I promise only to tell you the once - I managed to get to 5 miles, last 2 were hard - when I set off this morning I was thinking of reducing it to 4 as I had only done 2 milers last week but dug deep even though the reps were all over the place and at 3.5 miles I was near my home.

Now need to stretch and roller as my ITB does not like me at the moment and my glutes are grumbling.

Have a good week everyone.

Well done Womble - running is such a mental battle at times, it would've been so easy to head home at 3.5 miles, you did well to stick to the plan :-) Look after those muscles and enjoy a well earned rest :)

Afternoon and *waves* to all.

WW always lovely to hear from you - once twice or whatever....glad you are getting some miles in.

I too need to get the roller onto my ITB (ouch). Have been feeling knee again and after 2 10k races this week I feel the tightness. After today's race I got a little work done on it and know myself I need the discipline to keep rollering. I feel my roller is too bulky but also not hard enough so in our goody bad today was a 15% off voucher for the local running shop so will go treat myself to a new one.

Have a good week folks.

Good afternoon everyone. :)
Hope you all had a good weekend. I dropped my guests off at the station at lunch time and have slobbed out on the sofa all afternoon catching up on here. ;-) I hope you all manage to keep your little niggles at bay in whichever way has been recommended to you.
Our Saturday plans didn't kick off until lunchtime so I took the opportunity of leaving them in bed and doing my 50th parkrun and 4th one this year.
I have also written a blog.

See you later. :)
