That's great progress Kwala! Well done you, and is it hot where you are, I really struggle in the heat. :-).

I know what you mean Nutso, work and life can get in the way. I'm sorting that by being on leave for a week now! Escaping for a week in a holiday cottage, leaving tomorrow :-) excited!

I do like cocktails but also love a pint of cider :-)

L10 - I really don't do well in the heat either - it was hot at lunchtime when I went for a 3 mile bug clearing walk that ended up being nearer 5 miles!! Mostly quite pleasant this evening, it was sunny but there were some puffy clouds wafting about for a bit of relief and every now and then a lovely breeze.

Enjoy your week away :-)

Evening all from sunny Ambleside, it's gorgeous weather up here, the holiday home is fab but the fridge here is kaput so we just called the out of hours service the holiday company has. Hoping we can get it sorted as its now full of milk, butter, ham and of course cider and Guinness and there's nowt worse than warm booze! Other than that little hiccup it's lovely. The senior lemons might join us Monday for a few days so which would be fun. We plan to run tomorrow morning somewhere, then relax in the afternoon. Great parkrunning everyone in the hot weather :-)

Kwala, well done, improving on each outing now. :)

Nut, good parkrunning - where are you off to for your hols this time?
Lem, have a lovely week back up there in the Lakes. Our race last year took us halfway up the Old Man of Coniston so I'd recommend a walk up there - hope the weather stays kind for you. Enjoy! :)

LG, nice bit of touristing for you and DQ. :)

I got out for a long one this morning and walked more than I'd have liked to but that's how I started and it didn't change as I went along. ;-) I got to the seafront soon after 9 and couldn't believe how many people were already on the beach. Once home, I decided that it was to be my first day to the beach today and I managed to get in the sea. I figured it'd be good for my legs but their seizing up now. :)
