AR - I'd love to join you but I'm not quite ready for a half just yet, maybe next year!

Well done on the PB Nutso :-)

I'm back, marathon done but boy was it hot (sun cream on some parts but lots missed so very red). I also had endo pains for most of it so had to walk a lot more than I wanted to. Mr Lemon was amazing again. A lapped course, he set off at his own pace at first, and when he caught me up (lapped me) he decided to stay with me. We ran the rest of the race together, him always one lap ahead, until my final lap started and he ran it with me, an extra lap! What a star

There was talk the other day about P20 sunscreen - the ultra runners swear by it. I googled it and you have to put it on and allow 15 minutes for it to dry before getting dressed. It's supposed to last for 10 hours and won't sweat off like other sunscreens.

AR, I used to use P20. It was the 'big thing' in La Santa around 20 years ago(!)

I can say, as a fair-skinned, carrottish person* that it works. BUT it has no moisturiser, so you would have to compensate for the drying effect of the sun, or settle for the weather-beaten look.

*Dermatology consultant says I now have to wear Factor 50 all year round, no exceptions, no excuses.
