I've done a couple of long coach trips Stew, I try to avoid them if possible as they are soooo knackering. Nice you got a trot out in while there. :)

I went out on Sunday afternoon and did 6 miles. I'd badly timed it to coincide with the football emptying out. I was going in the opposite direction and thought the crowd would have looked a bit happier as we'd just beaten Liverpool 4-3. Perhaps the result hadn't sunk in yet. ;-)

Wont be doing one again, at least not for a while anyway, we went to Cologne on Saturday but its just too crowded, stayed around the hotel on Sun as I wasnt feeling 100% and went out for a short bimble in the afternoon.

Merry LG
Afternoon folks

Went and did 5 miles just to keep the legs ticking over and a step closer to the 700 while the weather is still on the nice enough for running side.
Also put my mile in for the SAP mile.

I've never been a coach trip person but seeing as OH doesn't like flying its maybe something to think about.

I went for a back massage this afternoon. It was quite ouchy but I hope it does the trick with my shoulder that's been dodgy for ages.

Lem, I'm loving your on-going saga with your marathoner at work over on the gear-grinding thread. I thought that was a bad idea to get him on Fetch as he'd see what you're up to, and we're supposed to be a friendly, helpful place to hang out. ;-)

I know Alpen. I relented and this afternoon I voluntarily went over to his desk to chat about his training and suggested he try for good for age so he can also run it the year after. He had no idea about good for age so I showed him the time he'd have to get, he said no way at first then started thinking maybe! Anyway I was very nice and helpful and finished by saying as long as he enjoyed his day that was what mattered. Ahhh!

Nut, I've always logged a sports massage as cross training - a)because it was in the list, b)because you shouldn't exercise after as your muscles need time to recover. :) I'm feeling "nicely" :-o bruised across my shoulders this morning. ;-)

Wom, keeping everything crossed for you. :)
