Just doing for myself AR ;) Besides I will be the oldest one there so don't want to turn up like an old frump :)

Outside thermometer firmly in the blue this morning so don't think it will be shorts and short sleeves at parkrun today!

Nice steady parkrun this morning, lovely crisp sunny morning so took my time and enjoyed not hearing my own heavy breathing for a change, then coffee and catch afterwards before collecting Alfie and taking him for lunch with my sister and then a walk to the park. Spent around a hour there before a walk back along the beach front and then managed to buy 2 christmas presents before heading back to the car where the wee man promptly fell asleep.

Ive just done a nice shortish run, been struggling a bit with distance since coming back from my hols so concentrating on a nice even pace, that is until I got home and deleted the run off my garmin and had to guesstimate it, what a plonker ;) still I got out just before the light started to fade a bit, I actually like running this time of year, thats when the proper runners are out :)

LG, well done for getting out there and being sensible after your bug. :)

Stew, you can log a route manually and load it in your training log if you have a hiccup with your Garmin.

Fragile Do Not Bend
I've bitten the bullet and signed up for a half next Sunday - I haven't run that far since my last half in March. A fair bit of it is trail so I'm not likely to get a PB, so I'm going to try and not give in to the temptation to go as fast as I can.

Morning all, sorry for being so quiet on here of late but things have been busy... Just over a month to go before getting home for Christmas.

I noticed I had some bets placed on me for this months virtual 5 miles. So I thought I best get out and hit that target this morning which I duly did. Fastest 5 miles out here thats for sure. Thankfully it is cooling down here now which is making it easier to run but with that comes the smog from the city as its resident burn whatever they can to stay warm. Its a nightmare if there is no wind because Kabul is in a bit of a bowl so the smog takes an age to clear.
