Afternoon all, how is everyone? There is still time to get your five mile time logged for the SAP virtual 5 for November. And then it's time for the 10 miler, g'wan you know you want to! Work is a little bit better, they are trying to relocate me and my colleagues back to the other office (management at the time moved us out a few years ago, now current management are thinking they would be better to move us back, lol). Anyway I would be happier over there, it's where I escape to now and again when I get sick of this place (I am lucky, I do still have an office over there for occasional use). So fingers crossed I'll be back there permanently in a few months (well, until we get some new managers, who think we'd be better back over here...). They do say if you dislike something that has been changed, wait for a bit and they will revert back to how things were. |

Afternoon, that sounds promising (for the time being) L10 Just logged my 5miles, meant to do 4 yesterday but things got in the way and when I saw the rain this morning my heart sank but it cleared up and my run stuff was with me ..its so much easier to change at work and run at 1.30 while its still light and I haven't yet switched on Fetch or FB for distraction....anyways 5 miles done. Making sweet potato and butternut squash soup before my shower. |

5 Miles ? I'm struggling to get 3 done at the minute ;), I think my mojo went south after my VLM rejection and then staright into my hols which wasnt a running trip but got a couple in, ah well, on the bright side I might have a new job on the horizon, it means going back to HGV driving but the pay compared to what I'm doing now is more than compensation, fingers crossed I'll be back on the Yorkie bars before you know it

Can't beat a yorkie bar! Hope the job comes off for you Stewie, you will have to make time to run off any trucker's special breakfasts you have though! Well done LG another SAP 5 miles in the bag! The soup sounded very tasty, I might have to make some this weekend now. Lovely route picture of the day on there today from DQ, beautiful view on your parkrun.

Apologies if this you feel this isn't appropriate but I saw this and thought of the SAP thread! entrycentral.com The hospice is a charity my club supported last year, when one of our members died of cancer there. |

Hello everyone, MIA for a few days this week as I had a friend to stay. I ran on Tuesday though and have entered my 5 miles from that run. I was supposed to give blood yesterday but they cancelled about 2 hours before. Really annoying as I try to fit it in around holidays and racing and can't go til Feb now. At my race last Sunday, they have posted my result as nearly 2 mins quicker than my Garmin time. I'm really annoyed about this as that is a huge amount on top of what I did. I have queried it but nothing has changed yet. Hope all goes well on the job front Stew. Will it mean being away from home a lot or shorter trips? Lem, is there no news of your new job yet or is just the move of offices after all that dangling? |

Alpen, well done on the five SAP miles! You missed a post form me a little while back, basically I never heard from them in four weeks about that job so I told them I was withdrawing my interest in their post, mainly because my current work has started making some changes (including the bid to relocate us) which should make me happier. So I figured stay put and see how the changes pan out, if I still hate it I'll try again next year but its worth waiting to see if we can move, it would solves several of my issues with the current set-up.
