Lol! I reckon you must all be as bored of hearing about my job as poor Mr Lemon! I know you would all much rather hear that I've been running and so I will try and do more of that!

On that subject, I ran last night. Only just over a mile but I had eaten fish and chips at lunchtime with colleagues and had horrible indigestion still at 5pm, so only did a short one. Better than nothing though, and I am tempted to do the same route again tonight (loops of a little avenue of bungalows) because there was a spectacular water leak there yesterday, with water spouting up into the air and it had two red plastic fences around it, to suggest it had been looked at and further work was planned. So I may toddle round there later for a look, see if its still doing an impression of the Bellagio fountains.

I also ran in my new shoes, courtesy of the Asics outlet at Ashford last week. Kayano 21 light show, in a bright pink or is it red, they have lots of extra reflective bits on them. They are the dogs doodahs and I love them! heart

Ive got a pair of Kayano 21's Lem, lovely shoe, I replaced a pair of Mizuno wave riders with them and never had any of my old injuries since using them, Wifes just bought me a pair of the 23's for our anniversary but still love the 21's :)

Well I had an interview of sorts yesterday, the firm I'm going to work for, hopefully, only recruit from the agency so had to sign up to Taskmaster's yesterday, been a while since I was an agency driver, just got to have an induction with the customer and with any luck its back to driving for me, I'm a transport manager now but at times it feels more like I'm in charge of a kindergarten ;)

Hope youre all well and thanks for the 'good lucks' for the new job :)

I can confirm the fountain is still there, I just jogged round there to warm down and a collection of residents were discussing it. One said she had called Anglian water again and they had no idea why there was a stand pipe there, but presumably one of their staff had put it there. That was all I could hear as I plodded past, 2.5 miles done and it felt hard work. Mr Lemon is at work today so I have been beavering away at housework this morning and had to run by myself which I find a bit dull. Hopefully he isn't working tomorrow and we can do a long-ish run.

Keeping fingers crossed for you Stewie, you'll be trucking again soon.

I parkrunned this morning. It's our club race tomorrow so will be marshalling instead of running so I ran to parkrun from home and back for a decent mileage for this week. I probably wouldn't have done that had I given blood on Thursday. I did my fastest time of the year and have my highest ever WAVA too so I'm quite happy with that. :)

Fragile Do Not Bend
I have a half tomorrow, could I have some crossed gingers that my calf muscles behave themselves? They've been fine for a few weeks but on Wednesday my right one decided to do a little 'ping'.

It feels fine now as I've rested it since then, I might Rock Tape them both into submission tomorrow morning. Luckily this is a mixed terrain half so that might stop me going off too fast.

Gingers crossed Frag! Take it easy and have fun!

Welcome home Nutso! Sounds like an epic journey home, hope you get some sleep at the right time later!

This afternoon we nipped to see Mr Lemon's brother, gave him his birthday present (running shoes, he is trying to get into it a bit). I had lots of cuddles with his 18 month old black Labrador heart

Going to do the SAP 10 tomorrow, good luck to Frag and anyone else running and marshalling tomorrow.
