Well done Frag. :)

Thanks for your wishes Stew.

I got out for a nice little run down by the river this morning. I decided on trail shoes and got them well and truly covered - it was very slippy and slidey in places. I love off-road, wish I could do more. :)

Well done Fragile,

Good run AR and good luck for Sunday.
My little set back this week meant me think I might not reach my target but a certain AR reminded me of the time left till the end of the year and the smallish amount I still have to achieve so weather permitting it will still be doable albeit on the last day of the year although I would like it to be done on a parkrun day as it is where all this running malarkey started.

Hope you are having a good weekend L10
Have a great weekend folks and I hope parkrun will be done tomorrow just to get the legs working

Lemon10

I am knackered! Not the best night sleep last night at a Premier Inn with a thermostat that keep clicking loudly all night, an upset stomach last night (boy did that dinner do me some damage!) but I managed 15 very windy and cold miles today and was very proud to get a medal as big as my head and an even bigger bar of Galaxy in my goodie bag!

Mr Lemon is a superstar and managed a marathon despite having a stomach upset today and possibly breaking his toe half way into the run, when he collided with a concrete post trying to avoid a runner heading straight for him. My mate from work who also ran and her hubby did brilliantly as well considering running isn't really their thing.

We are now cocooned in the heaven that is Dale Hill golf club and hotel, where we have got a gigantic room, have drunk a bottle of champagne, had an amazing bar meal and are now watching TV eating chocolate. It doesn't get better than this and it's why I run. Brilliant people, amazing sights - Dover cliffs are awesome, medals, chocolate, weekends away, did I mention some brilliant people. Yes the weather was a bit harsh, yes we had gut rot, there may be a broken toe, but we loved every minute! And scroll back up, check out that medal! :-)

Good luck Alpen you will smash it, well done everyone else, and LG you can do it!

Awesome medal Lem and Mr Lem and friends! buntingbunting
Sounds like you're having a fab weekend now the business end is done with. ;-) Enjoy! :)

Have a nice time tomorrow DQ, I hope they appreciate all your hard work. ;-)

And, thank for your wishes for Sunday. I'm expecting to be last after I looked at last year's results list, although I am next to a certain Steve Way in the entrants list. :) At the moment the weather forecast is pretty dire for Sunday so I just hope I can make it.
ION, I went to skittles tonight at a local Con Club. We entered the meat draw and I came home with a huge leg of lamb. :)
