Thanks guys. I have collated the runners and riders and have the results - just got to write the blog which I will do soon. Back in work today, smiling like a Cheshire cat in the hope it pisses off whoever it was the has tried to stab me in the back. If nothing else, smiling tends to make you feel better anyway so it's going to work on that level at least. Smile and wave :-)

DQ Thank you, cant say I'm much looking forward to the uphill finish but sounds like its going to be lovely and cool :) Good luck for you guys too I'm sure you will be awesome :)

L10 My gingers are still crossed then, nothing worse than the feeling to doom for going in been there done that and thankfully things improved when I left :)

Alpen Thank you :) new job is going well although 3 months ago I never envisioned I would be a programme manager, they always bite the bullet first in the apprentice! I'm off to Thailand as I have some insignificant birthday or other lol so an overnight in Singapore then just shy of two weeks in Chiang Main cant wait
L10 fab blog thank you for getting it done :) You really put a smile on my face with my PB congrats :) I bust a gut for that lol

That sounds really exciting Nut! Have you been that way before? I've been to Singapore and Bangkok but I never got to Chang Mai, it always sounds pretty idyllic. It'll be nice and warm over there. :)

Alpen We have a couple of times, Chang mai is lovely its further north than Bangkok more laidback than Bangkok with a very Thai feel still but appearance wise looks quite colonial. Its a lovely toasty almost 35 degrees at the mo.

Evening all, hope you're all well, I'm just back from an road trip in the U.S. managed to get a couple of runs in whilst out there but not as many as I would have liked, we drove up from Miami to Nashville over a 12 day period and caught a couple of shows in Nashville incl the grand ol opry plus saw 'The shires' at the famous Bluebird cafe on Weds night, all in all a great trip, first week was beach and chilling in sth beach Miami and Clearwater, second week started with a mad weekend in New Orleans, two nights in Memphis and finally Nashville absolutely knackered now, been on the go since 7am Thurs morning and just got sat down, time for a cheeky beer I reckon :)
