We've had a lovely week in Morzine with only one snowy, wet day. Massive ski area and hardly anything closed this year with one week left of the season. A great choice given the amount of snow there's been this winter. I wouldn't have chosen it for April in another year.

I've nicked Glencoe ski resort back from you Angus! Got another day (half day really) in on Saturday. I love that we are still skiing end of April in Scotland. And in a t-shirt, I sh*t you not! Was great actually.
So that's 5 ski days out this year in Scotland. Just 35 more to go to make my skis earn their keep! (Calculated as Cost to buy divided by Daily rental = Number of days I need to use them!) G

I saw a post in FB that at Cairngorm, with the funicular closed and the company going into receivership, the joys (and flexibility) of Ski Touring (my new version of the ski hobby) really comes into its own! Hoping they can get the ownership and running of the funicular sorted though.
Which lifts are open then ar? I'll hope to go to Glencoe, Glenshee or Cairngorm some time in December. G
