Rumours of total mismanagement and local authority lunacy abound. Apparently part of the problem now is that the chair lift access was allowed to degenerate because the train did it all. Now there’s no provision at all.

They've invested in a snowfactory with the intention of opening on 1st December every year with (very) limited terrain, depending on Mother nature's support. As supporters, we're going this weekend to the grand unveiling! I think The Lecht also have one. Tommy.

Might not make it tomorrow, but will be along soon on a weekend or midweek. Was really quiet all the times I visited (midweek) last year to Glencoe and Glenshee. Hope they have a great season this year. G

larkim Nov 2018 6:37pm, 30 Nov 2018 6,134 posts	0 larkim If you were driving to the French Alps, either the one on the Swiss border near Geneva or Pierre en Bresse could definitely be fitted in on a Saturday morning. We did one on the way there in the summer a couple of years ago, can't quite fit it in next year with some other things going on in the journey, but would be nice to do a wintry one.
