The snow has stopped but next info is at 1pm. It’s quite windy though. Jet2 are still trying to get us away, we should be second flight out but Geneva has also been snowbound.
We’re a group of 8. One of our party lives on Guernsey. The last two years she has been delayed by fog and after convuluted journeys has made it late on day 1. This time she’s made it to Gatwick but following flight cancellation is on various trains and should get there tonight. Just hope we can join her.

I reckon you’ll be there late this afternoon. Sun is out, Geneva is open and roads are clear. Come on Meglet!
Tomorrow could be snowy again until midday then bluebird once again! It’ll all be worth it once you’re smashing those slopes.

Nope. Back home. Leeds has cancelled all flights today. It had stopped snowing but high winds and drifting snow made it obvious we weren’t going anywhere.
Flight tomorrow morning is full and weather still looks dodgy.
Could have changed to Saturday morning but wothhomeward flights Sunday evening it wasn’t worth it. Monday’s flight was earlier and didn’t help much, and I Amy case most of us have work and family commitments that can’t be changed.
Gutted, it was my one chance to ski this year

I’m going away to Mallorca later this month might take a look around Easter but unlikely I think, and nobody to go with anyway.

This was a girls trip. We’d booked almost as soon as we came back last year and it has to be fitted around families, birthdays and other ski trips. Most of the other have had a family trip.

Oh no!!! Gutted for you Meglet. I'm always a bag of nerves before skiing trips as weather plays such a huge part in the whole thing in the winter, both here and in the resorts, such a shame to hear of you being hit so badly.
