As always, England give away silly penalties. Also, we seemed to always be attacking close to Scotland’s defensive line whereas Scotland seem to have a few yards clear space ahead of them.

Hmm. That was a surprise. Kept expecting them to fold but played hard and smart right to the last. Great game - 7 tries, some great skills, Mallins touch down off Smith kick was impressive.  G

Every try was a bit of a gem. I was in a pub with two England fans and a Canadian; last quarter, the England fans were looking gloomy and muttering about how Scotland looked like winning, and I was looking gloomy and muttering about how Marcus Smith was bound to pull his usual stunt of scoring at the last moment to turn the result round. He's had games where he's made more impact.

I'm not actually bitter (honest) but good to see Scotland best player was home grown talent :-/
The 2 early missed kicks from Farrell cost dearly, maybe let Smith have a go?

I don’t know why he doesn’t do any defending, he never seems to be in what I’d regard as a full back position when you see a try replay
