Have had to wait (and avoid social media) all day as we watching Jamie play rugby at midday and then were setting up our Scouts at a camp all afternoon.
So happy!! What a try that first one by vdM. SIX people beaten and how many yards rushed?! Just beautiful
Jamie’s team also won, with him scoring the decisive, spirit-crushing try at ¾ time. So pleased for him, he’s worked really hard for nearly 3 seasons to have the game he had today.
What a happy Scotsman I am this evening. 🏴😁🏴🏉🏴

Ireland clinical, Wales sloppy. The latter doubtless assisted the former and vice versa. I do think Ireland are beatable but it will take high intensity and discipline.
The Calcutta Cup was one for the ages, just brilliant for a neutral. When England get themselves sorted they will become very hard to beat. I thought we started to see Smith with the shackles off Blasphemy I know but I thought Farrell was largely irrelevant. JVP is growing all the time. Still making mistakes but you can see him learning. I see no value in Ben Youngs even off the bench. Too slow, too predictable.

Scotland usually only turn up for the Calcutta Cup matches. I haven't seen the real England team for years. France or Ireland for the Six Nations title.

Yes, well I am hoping for a repeat of 2021 next week. If I’m honest it is more of a hope than an expectation but Wales can’t be much worse than we were for the first half hour today
