Good morning Fetchies - i have just returned to amazon my set of Shokz openpro bone conducting headphones. Until a month ago i was pleased with them . Purchased over yr ago, and apart from when running near noisy traffic they certainly met the need, and accompanies me on many a long run. however in last few weeks the on-off button seemed to stick often , so very difficult to switch on or off. Searching the amazon help pages i stumbled on the chat box - and as fauly agreed to a refund. so the key questions - should i but a similar set , as reasonably pleased , but wouldnt be happy if failed out of warrenty 2yr. Or should i go for a different version ? any recommendations in the less than £150 range many thanks |

I have recently got a set of openrun after using my better half's open move and I am pleased with them. They work well and they've updated the charging port and buttons since my BH got hers last year so that may be something to do with the issues you had. They're also available for £109 atm in a couple of places.

My wife and I have gone through so many pairs of these. Apple AirPods have lasted a lot better and work better IME.

I have the original aftershokz and upgraded to open run last year never had any issues and my old ones are going strong as a friend bought them off me. In fact my original originals are also still working well (I gave them to OH when they brought out the minis) I’d not buy anything else. |

I have pretty much the same path as Geordiegirl and feel positively the same way. They are almost never off my head. I leave the old pair linked to the TV for late-night use, to save faff.

No doubt for me. Given the all-weather hammer that I give them I’m happy to replace like-for-like (aeropex—>openrun) when the time comes.

I've not had a problem with them falling out @wrexhamrob though of course it will depend how they fit your ears. You can get little loops to go over the ear, I used these at first but soon stopped bothering. They also have decent noise cancellation, much better in windy conditions than the shokz. Nothing is perfect of course.

I've had aeropex for a few years and wear them most days in all weathers. I've had no issues with them. I'd buy them again.
