Cox's Yard was where everyone met last year after the race. Although most of them had eaten their dinner and left by the time I made it back!

I'll be around with my own little mini-clique (best mate and OH have promised to come and watch me finish) after the race having a beer or three. Probably Cox's did that last year. Wasn't cheap mind.

thanks for booking that Zoom, yes getting close now, race pack arrived yesterday, need to start to make lists- final training , maps of B&B, meet ups, packing , mantras - make pace band , etc - to be continued.

Hello Sad I'm missing this, it's a lovely race (and I thought the Greenway was brill). I've got a mate who's after a Shakespeare mara place. I haven't read back through the thread but a. is it possible to swap numbers on this one, and b. are there any numbers on offer? Ta! |

Naomi, yes it is possible to swap - the website says: Transfers - CLOSE ON 15 APRIL 24/03/2010 Entrants to the Marathon or Half Marathon are permitted to Transfer their entry to another person.If you now want to enter the Full Marathon, you will have to find someone with a Full Marathon entry who cannot run. This must be done strictly in accordance with our terms – please see Transfer Request form under Entry Forms on our website and FAQ 2. The Runners World forum for our event may be a good place to look but you must note that it is up to you and the transferor to agree terms and we must then approve the transfer.
