There's a hill that you run twice, but it's really not that bad, honest  And the view at the top is a welcome sight. Last year I ran with SW22 up to 16 miles and I remember her saying the first time we tackled it 'Ooh, that's a nice view, I'm glad we get to do that again!' Captainbread - you won't be on your own, don't worry! There's nearly always someone nearby to chat to, or to follow, or to overtake. What sort of time are you aiming for, if any? I'm sure there'll be a Fetchie or two aiming for something similar. My race pack arrived today. And I have my Demelza vest printed up, ready to rock and roll. |

I think the colour is just to distinguish between marathon and half marathon runners.

Monty, I was planning on running on Sunday when the roads are quieter, so unless you're still out there in the morning I probably won't see you! Shame. Drinks: I'll be driving up on the morning of the race, but meeting after would be very good. |
