RHR was up this morning to 60, but I felt OK. Just not up to going out for a plod.
I felt worse since test result, think that might be psychological. I'm very hungry, just scoffed my lunch 😋
Just short of 6 weeks to Dublin, plenty time to get well. 🙃

Yes, I'm eating healthily. I'm hungry already, now mentally planning what to have for dinner.
I've lost my sense of smell but I can still taste everything fine.

Big G - yes, Dublin training not really going to plan. 🤣
I am as hungry as if I was running 80 miles a week. 😂

Shades sorry to see another positive test , hope you’re not too poorly and able to carry on training.
WP good luck with the taping, I’ve never got it right.
Big G well done on your race, nice podium place.
Cal Denbies half looks great fun, shame they stopped the full marathon a few years ago.
Ian sorry to hear you’ve had a time of it, hopefully the meds are working.
Not much running from me, started to get back out a bit more, need to get some miles in before Stevenage marathon next month. Not feeling great whilst running but just need to keep persevering .

Rob - I have felt quite ill this time round, over the fever stage thankfully but can't see me getting out to do any training for a while yet. A mile walk yesterday was my limit.
On the upside I've been able to back out of a Zoom meeting tonight, not sure how I managed to be co-opted onto a steering group on a subject that I'm not that knowledgeable on.
Good you're managing some training. Quite impressive Stevenage sold out so quickly, as there are 5 road marathons that weekend.
Had an OK sleep. RHR reduced this morning, but I don't feel any better. I'm not hungry though 😉 It's a perfect morning for running, stuck my head out the window. 😢

Rob: Glad you are back building some miles again but think you had bad legs for a wee while post marathon.
Shades: Losing appetite is not good.Hope you start to feel better soon.a drop in RHR is good.Always the way we can never be ill when conditions are bad.
10 degrees so a warmer startto the morning.Tape stayed on all day and still firmly attached

WP - I haven't lost my appetite, I'm just not ravenous as I was yesterday. It's early in the day yet.
Good news on the taping.

Rob, good to hear from you. When you say not feeling great, what do you mean? Loss of mojo, or managing niggles, or something else? I hope you manage to get some miles in before Stevenage. These races soon come around!
Slept well last night, the first time really since Saturday’s event. Didn’t sleep well Saturday night after the marathon, which is fairly standard for me, and I’ve kind of been ‘catching up’ since then. But feeling more normal today. Legs feel fine, but have just been tired. Will be going out for a plod and I’m considering a couple of laps of Haldon as that’s run/walk.
Just walked Tigg and after his chasing of the ball to tire him out, we put him back on the lead to walk home. This Collie, off the lead, went for Tigg, grabbed hold, shaking head etc. Fortunately, it had grabbed hold of Tigg’s harness so actual no harm done and not skin, although Tigg retaliated and cut the collie’s ear. Not good and Tigg was stressed for a bit, but he’s okay. Collie tagged OH’s leg as well, but she’s okay also, just a small mark on skin. It’s funny as yesterday OH was talking about a Collie she was seeing and said she had to muzzle it as she didn’t trust it, and she needed a vet nurse to help administer a vaccine, which isn’t normal.
