Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

You could twist Donna's arm. But she probably still wouldn't tell you.

I was wondering how you got on @Old Croc It was an amazing day and not too windy. We cycled to my cousin’s farm for brekky and then back via a big loop. How was the half?

It was a tough one. Hard to judge distance at times even though I had done the course measure. Maybe that was playing tricks with my mind. The heat sneaked up on you a bit and the lack of breeze made it oven like. I suffered from half way to be honest.

A plug for the Dumfries Half Marathon on 15 September. We're hosting the British Masters Championships this year.

That’s the race my dad helped start :) was down a couple of weeks ago though. One day I’ll do it.

I'd like to do the Dumfries Half again sometime, but I'll be on the wrong side of the Irish Sea on 15th September.
