Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Same up here @HappyG(rrr) I’m barcode scanning at parkrun today. Better take wellies for wet grass.

I still haven’t made Elgin Parkrun. Swimming in the sea this morning with next door neighbours’ dogs. I’m going to add my name to the volunteer list, especially as I hope to get a car in the next couple of weeks.

That conjures up an intriguing picture, @Red Squirrel dog. I'm more used to dogs chasing squirrels ;-)

For anybody with plans to go to Oriam parkrun in the near future. We are off for at least the next two weeks. We found out a couple of weeks ago that a new local bus is going to be cutting across our course as from Monday coming so we are having to change our route with the resulting course measuring and risk assessment requirements. There are plans in place but it's going to take at least a couple of weeks.

Crikey Lorraine, that's weird and short notice. It's presumably at the tiny wee road just 0.5 mile into your route, but weird place for it to come. Hope you can find an alternate route to offer. :-) G

it's at the Cottage, HappyG, they are running a new service from Balerno via Curriehill train station through campus. The gate is still to be closed for traffic but the bus drivers will have a means of raising barrier
