Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Which, like all potential parkruns, we'd be very happy for you to ignore on here until it has started!

Looking at Central Scotland 10Ks in September, Stirling on the 8th is down to 116/1100 places already and Linlithgow on the 29th is 270/1050 (more than usual, normally 800?). Cumbernauld is on the 15th, numbers unknown.

I might run Stirling, but as I've entered the inaugural Kelpies HM on the 22nd, I don't think either of the other two are a good idea for me.

And if you fancy something a bit more trail, in August there's another new event, the Palacerigg 10K (by Cumbernauld) on the 25th. Parkrun and more :-) Only 200 places, and most are gone already.

And breaking news, for those who like to plan well ahead, the Everyrunner Trail Race 10K just launched, next March in Callander Park and woods. 399/400 places available :-) (The current entrant is a Psycho Squirrel.)

It would be wrong for me not to share in here. It was supposed to be for Scottish running week but a family loss, hospital stay, lost voice and missed plane between myself and TRS saw it slide. No one now listening will know who I am, and will be bemused.

I'm a bit behind with TRS. Might hear your episode later in the winter!

Caithness Half - you know you want to. :-) Who doesn't want to travel to the tippy top of Scotland in September for a beautifully undulating half marathon?
