No it isn't so bad but if you overcook the first ten miles, the hill at 11 miles seems a lot steeper and longer than it is. I did the water station at the top of that one last year and most people were cursing by the time they got to me. And when I did the race myself I thought I pretty much cried going up there.

It's on some of my regular running routes and in normal training it's a tiddler of a hill. πŸ˜†

Ally, very true! but quite fancy a wee trip north up so maybe just ignore undulation and go for it!

It's a lovely little race. Nice medal this year, I think so anyway. We've gone all patriotic with a Caithness flag. :-)

Come on up. Bring a friend! Make a weekend of it and do Thurso parkrun too. πŸ˜† Why not!
