That’s always the dilemma with making your own bread EvilPixie but I guess if you choose to make your own, for whatever reason, it’s cheaper to do in a slow cooker than a conventional oven.

I bought OH and me an Oodie (oversized fleece hoodie/blanket) on a BOGOF offer. The living room is down to 14º this morning and I'm plenty warm enough without putting the heating on. They will be useful in the campervan too when we go away in December.

It is about changing gear and the head. Being frugal is okay and much better for the planet. It can mean more money for other things like one's mortgage. Of course there is always looking out for deals to make the blow softer and that is where moneysavingexpert.com is a good place to keep an eye open |
