fantastic news Margarita!

We still have one bottleof fizz left from Easter, I'd been saving it for when we finally get the hot tub set up, but I'm sure we can buy more so I might crack it open to celebrate in your honour tonight :D

Great thread, too, and I fifth (or however many) the people glad to see it making a return as I seem to have missed its previous outings. I've been trying to get out of the habit of saving things for best over the last few years but often need a kick to remind myself - a thread watch notification from here should do the job nicely!

Great purple dress. :-) I am wearing earrings, because I don't want to go through the pain of when they almost healed up due to not wearing them for ages. Rings I have put aside, because of the hand washing. I do get dressed for work; although no bra and I wear shorts so I can have treadmill breaks. I bought a hideously expensive bottle of perfume from Penhaligons at the start of lockdown (seriously - £192). Have just opened the box, got the bottle out and had a spray. Lifted my mood significantly. :-)

ANYWAY scent goes 'off', any fule kno that.

Nice frock, Fleecio. :-)

It really is a bit mad saving things (just) for best.

I do actually like perfume, and don't currently have any. Perhaps I will order some. I reckon I'm saving in a week on train fares enough for a small bottle.

Perfume literally shouldn’t be saved for best! I had some I bought at Gatwick which I did use regularly and then managed to smash the bottle. I should get some more. It was particularly good perfume because it smelt nice but then faded rapidly. Most perfumes which linger give me a headache

Fab frock! Yep, I'm doing the perfume thing too. I can't wear jewellery or perfume when I'm seeing patients, and went out so rarely pre-C19 that I didn't get much opportunity to use the stuff I had. I bought some at duty free on my way out to Tenerife in Feb and have been using it since lockdown started.

On workdays I wash my hair (instead of having it scraped back in a teeny pony tail). And I'm still doing the ironing. A neat ironing pile gives me great pleasure, and I quite enjoy doing it.
