Morning:

Lyrics: Her hair shone like gold in the hot morning sun

The second line.

Yesterday's were See Emily Play, Pink FLoyd

What: possibly a swim

Why: driving 200 miles to see a friend who is unwell; the hotel has a pool.
Not looking forward to the drive as the furthest I have driven since February is around ten miles!
Hope my leg copes!

Lyrics no.
Hope your friend is not too unwell Ale and the drive isn't too much of a pain!
News from Covid land, Peter feels better, I'm a little better but still queasy and feeble, got round scapa walking yesterday, mist kept folk at home, a bit more wary on a Sat but will see how busy things are!
Running low on fresh stuff but just made some soup and scones, my knitting also is progressing well !
Missing out on 60th celebrations for running friend today, sure she'll have a good one!

Good afternoon :)

Lyrics: No. But they scan nicely into "I had a wee barra, the wheels went a-round," and now I've got a really annoying earworm.

What: Parkrun, and walking a couple of miles there and back.
Why: Parkrun tourism opportunity.
Last hard: I think it was the efforts and recoveries on Thursday. I've lost count of where I'm at.

Racing tomorrow. It starts too early for me to have breakfast first, so for the rest of today I'll mostly be eating.

Evening!

Drive was better than expected, thanks! Although will reserve judgement until tomorrow. Decided swim might be too much. Short walk instead.

Visited friend in his dementia unit; I'm sure that he is misplaced as his memory seemed better than mine. However he is struggling to walk, even with a frame.
