So that's it for Wasps - how do we feel? Good riddance or sorry to see a giant of the English game in such straits? And is this the most dramatic step so far in the implosion of professional club rugby in England?

To be fair, it's only demotion to the tenth league, only take a decade to get back up.

But, seriously, a lot of people think professionalism has fucked union and while it's more unions failure to adapt as opposed to the nature of professionalism, they have a point.

Of the big clubs though no one thought it would be Wasps, until they started pissing about moving away from their fan base that is.

I hesitate to call them clubs now though, they're businesses often owned by cartels of dickhead wannabe football owners who have more ambition than brains.

The history and passion is still evident among the players and coaches but that just seems to have become a scalable commodity.

As a long term Wasps fan, extremely sorry to see this happen to a former giant of the game.
They were doing just fine ground sharing at Loftus Road, then when they had to leave there they decided they needed their own stadium in case they were relegated then couldn't come back up. That worked out well then.

Irish out, didn't expect this extension to come to anything.

So what's going to happen next year? Ten club league with no relegation I guess.

I'd be in favour of having Jersey and Ealing come up with no obligations about capacity at grounds etc etc. One of them will go straight back down (probably) but at least it would be a proper competition.

I'd invite you all to look at the Prem table.

Tigers at home next week and Bris facing Quin's who beat Exeter today I'm thinking the top spot may not change.

It's been a very long while.

Great look of the table richmac with Sarry's at the bottom!

What's the chances that those standings will be completely reversed by the end of the season?
