Just awake from my post-race nap. My number was changed to 13 (or did I misread the entry list?), which was ominous... Anyway I got through in 21:35. Suffered with some bad blisters which slowed me down as well as a sluggish start (didn't feel like running for the first 20 so had to force myself). Came alive from 20 to goring though i missed the turning to get to the river (so i snuck across someone's land to get into the second Stoke village). Got some nice spooky pictures of Waylons smithy, though! And I had a run-in with the police a few miles from barbury castle. Glad it's over...

I couldn't remember anyone's numbers so didn't know who to introduce myself to, but if you saw someone with an Italian greyhound at the start that was me!

Nice one Bruno, didn't see an Italan greyhound but if you saw a bloke turn up with about 30secs to go before the start then that was me.:)

Cutting it fine weren't you?

Oh and did I mention that after the race I have come home to a visit with my inlaws. Thankfully my brother and sister in law and their son and not the parents, but still-it prevents me from slobbing out entirely!

Fantastic race but blooming hard and everybody did great. Ogee I can't believe you crept up on me at the last check point ;)
Jen is fine and did a great time of around 20 hours - she had a terrible last 23 miles and pulled a muscle but with some R&R over the next few days she will be fighting fit again.
