Yesterday I was grateful for a lovely bandb and a yummy dinner and that we saw seals :-)

Wow, seals. That's exciting. Yesterday I was grateful for a hard meeting to be over and for Friday. Today I'm grateful that the rain has not really arrived yet.

I didn't spend my entire day frantically packing boxes (because I still don't have them) so am not exhausted for my leaving drinks at my favourite local pub tonight. I haven't alienated myself completely over the last 2 years and my good friends understand why I've been largely AWOL. People seem quite keen to visit the Black Isle - can't imagine why :) I am going to be living in one of the most beautiful parts of the country with lots of outdoor things to do :)

I am grateful that hangovers don't last forever (oh please tell me hangovers don't last forever). Very grateful for some wonderful friends who came to have farewell drinks with me - what a night!!

I still felt a bit ropey this morning - must be getting old.

Anyway, today I am grateful that I finally got boxes and have most of the flat packed up. Grateful for some crackin' tunes to help me along. And for some fruit and veg (it's all very well trying to run down the cupboards and freezer but I NEED fresh fruit and veg)
