I love getting the tescos magazines (free usually by the entrance door) and ripping the coupons out and putting them near the appropriate items lol and any other vouchers I find that I have no use for

Hark the Helegant Angels Sing
A woman I know makes a conscious choice each day to do something nice/a treat for each member of her household (husband, children, dog) then something nice for herself. I suspect it is that generosity that makes it easier for her to find opportunities for RAK.

Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
I managed a RAK the other day, got rather cold doing it though. I had popped out of the main hospital building where I work, just to nip across to an outside office so didn't take a coat or cardigan, on the way back I saw a little old lady trying to pull a heavy hospital wheelchair that was occupied by her rather large husband carrying his Zimmer frame, so naturally I offered assistance, the building she was heading for was much further away with lots of on and off pavements, she never would have managed alone, so I got cold but at least they got there quicker and both were very grateful.

Was out shopping at a shopping mall today, and there is a charity here for the disabled and under privileged kids. They were selling tickets for pantomimes. You can buy them for some one specific or buy them to give a a gift for one of these kids. Brought a couple for gifts for whomever they choose.

Anyone who has watched I Daniel Blake should donate to a food bank. Find out who receives food from your supermarket look them up and find out what they need (chances are it isn't beans...)

Good King WtnMel Looked Out
Just a small thing but at the supermarket earlier today an old lady was struggling to get her £1 into the slot as the mechanism was a bit stiff .. I sorted that out for her. Then she was struggling to get the trolley out from between the barriers so I pulled it out for her and helped her negotiate her way through the crowd of impatient shoppers who had by this time congregated while waiting their turn.

Helegant
When I was a girl Guide we had LAH - Lend A Hand. So often the simple things cost us nothing, such as going behind the scenes at events and grabbing a spare tea towel, or opening the doors for someone with a wheelchair. Those were two of mine from yesterday - my official role at the time was 'stand and chat to people and shake their hands as they leave' but I'm not royalty and the flunkeys were noticeable by their absence.
