There's no requirement to report on your acts of kindness. It's nice to read about them though :-)

It is nice to read about them, and also to see what reaction they get. A small gesture like knocking on an elderly neighbour's door to check they are ok and to offer some human contact is probably more valuable than making a donation to a big charity (to that person anyway), and is the kind of thing that we often "too busy" to get round to. Reading about someone else doing it, and the pleasure it gives, is a timely reminder to me.

decorum
A rather frail and older gentleman was taking his half sized trolley back to the trolley park near the front of the supermarket. So being nice and as I was going to be picking one up anyway, I offered to take it back and save him the trip.

About 5 minutes later I spotted him shopping ... He'd been too polite to tell me he'd been to fetch the trolley and had had to go fetch another ...

Oops! :-o

Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
I was very grateful for the excellent treatment and kindness of a department at my local hospital when I had to have a procedure last week so I baked them some brownies as a thank you, they seemed to appreciate it.
