I was wondering about the potential for supporting several such events - rather than one in specific place. So (for example) someone could apply to host a Bristol mile, and someone else could do an Edinburgh mile... to maximise the chances for people to attend without having to travel long distances.

I'd support a Swittle Fest in different locations

I like all the ideas about events and I would try to make it to any bench event or meet-up and at the very least a mile here in the Scottish highlands.

My simple suggestion for surplus funds is to put in the Fetch coffers.

Fully settled @Lip Gloss . Lovely neighbours, lots of dogs which I’m helping out with, jobs to apply for and of course the natural beauty of everything around. *Deep sigh*

I like the idea of a Swittle fest in many locations or just one. I’ll happily organise a north east England one.

I was aware of the commitment/organisation that a bursary would entail but thought someone would take an idea and improve it :-)

I've totted up the donations, and the figure currently stands at £713, which means £513 spare.

About This Thread

Maintained by Lip Gloss
Never met him in person but always came across as a lovely man.

If you read about his nightly beach runs you could almost have been running along beside him.

He always encouraged others especially on the How was your run thread.

Hope all your beach run are still as perfect as they were while you were here xx
