What a send off! I've been emotional most of the day and have had tears in my eyes when someone showed the same emotions.
King Charles and Kirsty Young did well to keep their tears in but will understandably let them go off camera.

I was rather alarmed by the sight of the steps into St George’s chapel but I needn’t have worried. Literally all done with military precision.

As EX-RN, I would have given my right arm to have been in the gun carriage crew today. As for the 8 lads who carried the coffin, what an incredible job they did with the eyes of the world on them 👏👏👏👏

I really hope King Charles is now sat in a comfy chair, in his slippers, with a pot of tea and a large Scotch

Fizz :-)
I hope his family are allowed to briefly forget that he is now their king and give him a hug.
