Yes an ex butler on BBC said it is made clear when you take the job it will finish with the present PofW as the contract is with HIM specific so new contracts need to be drawn up
But hey isn't that what the papers are there for to make everything worse than it is?!
Boss is hoping to go down tomorrow but restricted on when he can go so would only be able to wait 20 hours so not sure if he can go but I see the BBC are live streaming it!

Reading about those "redundancy notices" this morning it seems that the Guardian has been guilty of over-egging it somewhat and the situation was an expected one. I wish they wouldn't do this, the militant nature of that newspaper doesn't do it credit.
This may be why there is no newspaper entitled, 'The Whole Truth'.

[ I think there are many other papers that fit the militant term way before the Guardian (favouring confrontational methods in support of a political or social cause) with their culture wars and divisive rhetoric ]
I've actually found its coverage very good on the whole. Respectful and comprehensive without being fawning & sycophantic.
