Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I see many of Charles' staff were given redundancy notices during today's church service. Harsh.

Really? That's dreadful.

I felt quite emotional watching the plane take off knowing the Queen was leaving Scotland for the last time. Even my 1 yr old grandson sat in my bosie watching :-(

I’m really moved by the care of her journey so far it’s been handled so calmly and with thought for people to be able to line streets and wish her rest now

Still very emotional about it all.

We went up to Windsor castle yesterday evening, busy but not overcrowded, so many flowers it’s going to look magnificent on Monday.

It was nice to be there.

Just joined the queue at Jubilee Bridge. We got off at Bermondsey underground station and walked to Southwark Park and then all the way back because we thought the queue started in Southwark Park. There is fencing back and forth around the park for miles.

Reading about those "redundancy notices" this morning it seems that the Guardian has been guilty of over-egging it somewhat and the situation was an expected one. I wish they wouldn't do this, the militant nature of that newspaper doesn't do it credit.

Here's the queue route for anyone going to view the Queen's coffin at Westminster Hall. As of 12:00 today the queue was past Westminster Bridge
