Fantastic ride from WVA, what an attack. Yates and Vingogoord looking stronger than their team "leaders" - but too early to say properly. G likes cobbles tho...

Thomas is actually a last minute leader here, Yates was locked in earlier AIUI. Explosive one though so not necessarily telling for the main climbs but still looked good. |

Lol Gobi, my lead over the four of you behind me is still less than the lead I had after the stage 1 TT, the lumpy stage helped today for sur. If the Jumbo duo have it in the mountains I'll be unbeatable I think. Being on the full leaderboard is nice. Tomorrow will be interesting, hopefully no crashes but we get a GC fight. Apparently WVA is on babysitting duties so MVDP should have a clear road to the win if there's no mechanical issues. |

Babysitting who tho? Babysitting Roglic would be a waste of his yellow jersey, as Roglic will struggle to get on the podium I suggest. G suggesting Roglic lost the wheel and couldn't get it back in his post race interview. Sounded comfortable himself, although Yates was of course mercurial. Pogacar's achilles heel might be his team. Lots of good individuals, but I'm not seeing a team on display a la Ineos or JV.
