Pogacar can win the Tour on any given day, apart from a sprinting day. We've got so used to the only days for GC gaps to be built being mountains (or echelons / incidents) that we shouldn't mind if a cobbles day gives us a not dissimilar outcome to a mountain day.
Plus there's still a long way to go for Pogacar and a lot of work to be done if he takes yellow from this point onwards.

Yeah, there's nothing to say that Pogacar won't crash tomorrow and lose two minutes.
Or simply crack Simon Yates style.

Well, Pogacar does look pretty imperious so a crack I wouldn't expect.
And I hope he doesn't crash. But equally I hope that the other potential rivals don't just gift it to him from this point; they should all give it individual slugs at him over the next 2.5 weeks and see if he can sustain the lead. That could make for a very interesting race.

Again, it's about it not being decided by skill! If they lost in the mountains for the same reason I'd say the same thing. If he burnt them off his wheel on the cobbles a la Boonen or Cancellara I'd say chapeau.

Why would you expect someone to go into the red and blow themselves up on a suicide attack Larkim? They should try but it's tough when Pogacar can sit tight and has TT time in hand (minimum matching Roglic).
