Watching the men's gravel WC today. Belgium had 4 of 7 in the lead group (the other being MVDP, Mohoric, and Conor Swift). One of the Belgian riders (Florian Vermeersch) has attacked with MVDP closing it and they now have a 40 sec gap. Surprised to see him riding with MVDP. The other three can't seem to break away from Mohoric and Swift to close the gap and give Belgium a numbers advantage to contest the win.

I expect everyone is expecting Pogacar to win at a canter today. Roglic isn't starting with presumably the lack of base catching up with him after the Vuelta (given the limited training leading into that) and Evenepoel seems to be off the boil. Shows how special what Pogacar is doing is given he's been riding well all season.
