5 of my 7 left have actually made decent contributions so far. Hoping the other two make it into a break. Losing two decent riders for 0 points isn't great though.

Crikey, I'm plummeting down despite the fact 8 of my 9 have scored points, and all 9 are still in the race. I'm 17,000 odd out of 18,000, only saved by it being worse for people below me!

I had a good day yesterday with 1st and 2nd on a sprint stage. With 3 Jumbo riders in my team stage 1 was a disaster for me though, even though I think most would agree Jumbo were the favourites for the TTT. Let’s see what the mountains bring.

Pretty sure I finished last in last year’s TdF and first in the Vuelta, which led me to conclude there’s a lot of luck involved in this! Brings an added dimension though, and I enjoy it.
