Bike fine, mech loose, more a mechanic embarrassed by the comment as for the brand the bike won twice.

Not sure what OK stands for but seems obviously linked to lapped but I can't think of anything obvious it's code for. If you download the results PDF it says how many laps down they were rather than OK (also explains all the other acronyms, lol).

Congrats to your daughter on a good two weeks at the champs.

Thanks SPR - I'd just seen the full results/analysis and they show there as "-1LAP" and given a position. Maybe it's just the automated instant system that gives some sort of status as opposed to DSQ or DNF.

MVDP has said his crash was his fault. Guess he was trying to move up to fast.

In terms of the main goal of qualifying for the Paris Olympics apparently the performance of Dutch U23 rider Tom Schellekens who finished fifth in that race helps. Not sure on the full qualification rules.

When we were at the para races on Friday there were some lapped riders who got to the finish as the next race was lining up so they got a finish order but not a time because they had to wait. Does the ok relate to that I wonder?

I saw Caley Fretz (editor of escape collective, formerly of Cyclingtips) commenting on VdPs tyre. Apparently the chosen one has a habit of letting go on loose gravel

ES saying AVV should bury herself to make the catch, I disagree. They're going to catch anyway. Kopecky is favourite, having someone else she has to worry about makes sense.

Well AVV out of it with a puncture now (unless they play around at the front.
