Possible Roglic thinks Wright should have ceded the wheel but no chance of that when side by side in a sprint.

Looks like Wright was going into a gap that wasn't there to me.
Accepting that a bit of shoving is presumably part of the sprint, so very difficult to determine if it was a legitimate gap or never there.
Roglic has no incentive or need to move over to allow space though? Other than reading and anticipating what's going to happen in that situation.

No Lycra Allowed (Jase)
Roglic is out of order. He is on the white line for most of the sprint, look how much he then moves to the right just prior to the crash, he's moved over a foot away from it. Completely his own fault.

True - at first I thought that was part of the crash being pulled inwards. But now looks like it was before any real contact.
So please retract my post above!

I think it's possible part of the crash, it may be there's some unbalancing contact pre full contact.

No Lycra Allowed (Jase)
This is a few frames before there was any contact, Roglic is clearly veering to the right, causing the impact.

Actually looking at it from behind, I think the movement is just the bike moving under him (Roglic) as he opens up. If you look at the Wright, his bike is moving side to side earlier as he opens up before Roglic, the guys in front have the same thing going on.

I think that still shows what I'm saying. If you didn't know how riders and their bikes moved putting down full power, that pic would look like Roglic and Wright are leaning into each other with one going right and the other left. Roglic is the one with room to the left so it has to be him that leaves room really.

I know it sounds silly, but I still wonder if Roglic knew that Wight was in the group. When he says he hasn’t got eyes on his back, could that mean he didn’t know Wright was there? Roglic had been pulling on the front, veered to his left to let the line go, counted 3 go past, moved back into the draft to try to finish on the same time as the leader, but there was a 4th rider (Wright) there that he hadn’t realised.
