I was outside of several cans of Stella and a bottle of wine by 3 am and I kept falling asleep.

I was much suffering by 6pm on Friday night! My attention to the 2 Euro quarter-finals was very low.

Labour has appointed one of the country’s foremost climate experts to lead a “mission control centre” on clean energy.
I know that they’ve had a while to think about this stuff but they’ve certainly hit the ground running on a lot of fronts. Quite impressive really. Compare and contrast with the Tories over the last few years who were totally out of constructive ideas.

On that score, apparently the Tories couldn't even properly organise a vote for the new chairman of the 1922 committee today.

No they couldn’t. Makes me so happy.
And some of their MPs are pushing for the membership to have no say on electing the party leader.
Leave it as it is I say. The last few Tory party leaders have been so very good why would they want to change a winning formula 😁

And secondly, somebody has leaked notes of Kemi Badenoch's speech at shadow cabinet today, including the idea of not leaking notes.
I don't think I've seen such incompetence since I watched the Brittas Empire.

Kemi has also torn into Suella with some force, so you may wish to grab yourself some popcorn and settle in for the retaliation.

Ah the Brittas Empire! Good reference. Didn't she say Suella was having a public breakdown?
