And I think that makes Braverman's comments worse. She's trivialising or conflating peaceful protests in terms of hate speech and completely ignoring the real increases in antisemitism and Islamophobia.

I suppose my reaction is mostly compassion and concern for both sides and any anger and revulsion is reserved for the politicians and the leaders, not just anyone from Israel / Jewish or anyone from Arabic countries / Muslims. Storming an airport is pretty extreme action too. Scary to see.

There will be folk out there that think all Jews are Zionists & all Muslims support the actions of Hamas, both groups will be easily stirred into action I guess.

I think we are seeing the Law Of Unintended Consequences playing out in real time now. Who knows where it will lead. Worrying times.

We were really really unlucky to have had Bojo as PM when COVID struck. Just read a small portion of the enquiry from today. Absolute shambles. No wonder so much went wrong and so many poor souls lost their lives. Unforgivable.

Yeah a clear ideological drive to ignore the concerns of trade unions about mask use in schools which must have led to deaths

Braverman also had a go at people "deliberately operating below the criminal threshold". Go figure.

Meanwhile Paul Bristow sacked from his government role for demanding a ceasefire.

A lot of testimony to the inquiry will be score settling & arse covering.

Sunak has already been accused of revisionism and getting refered to as 'Dr Death' isn't going to help his electoral chances.

I wonder if (it wont) the inquiry will decide their was criminal negligence
