Who knows how the next 2 years will pan out. The only certain thing is that it will be another 2 years of one man's rampant ego destroying a country politically, constitutionally and reputationally.
Sounds like the Tory leadership election this summer.

DeSantis is one of the few Republicans that did better nationwide than predicted from the polls.
He has a base in Florida that seems to love him.
The trumpist base will fall in behind him, Tucker Carlson and the other demagogues will fawn to him and eulogise him in their hate speeches.

Fox will big up de Santis and gradually withdraw support from Trump. Trump will rant and rage and threaten to split the Rep vote. Well, he might. I wouldn't put anything past him.

Yes, there's a good chance that if he doesn't get R nomination, he'll do a Perot.

He thinks running will make it less likely he is indicted. Might be right but I'd still guess he will be. Garland is a very patient man who doesn't lose cases.

So the missile was likely a Ukrainian one which hit Poland.
Therefore NATO should invade Ukraine, for attacking a NATO member. Discuss.

JB - actually it's more likely a fundraising drive to pay for his debts/legal costs. There are reliable reports that suggest he really doesn't have anywhere near as much cash as he needs. He's basically been funneling cash from campaign donations to his legal defence for 2 years+ now.

If your definition of attacking is unintentionally launching a missile which goes wrong, then sure. Nuke Ukraine.
Even if it was a Russian missile, it was pretty clear it was unintentional (you don't attack rural farms with missiles for tactical reasons) and there'd have been no NATO response.

Rs will have control of the House btw. They need just one out of the 9 uncalled races and they look to be favourite in at least 2 of the uncalled at the moment.
It's going to be a razor thin majority of 1 or 2 at most though.

Just trying to gauge the appetite of bloodthirstiness on the thread for foreign working class people to die to defend some land thousands of miles away.
