Careful what you wish for. Truss goes on Guy Fawkes Night and Boris "the ghost of Christmas past" Johnson gets his comeback?
Well. I was only 16 days out with the first part of this flippant prediction ...

It's very environmentally irresponsible that the government keep using single-use ministers..
On a similar theme, the book "Out of the Blue: the inside story of Liz Truss and her astonishing rise to power" by Harry Cole and James Heale comes out on December 8th. How many copies will now be pulped?

Is it possible they appoint Boris only for an as yet uncovered scandal from his last stint forces him to resign.

Any chance of Boris, as he referenced (and Bernie Taupin wrote in the lyrics to Yellow Brick Road) going back to his plough?

Every chance Johnson gets it and then his Standards & Privileges Commitee findings sink him.
I still have a horrid feeling that Suella Braverman is generously priced at 100/1...

Boris will win, if he gets to the last two. The members never wanted him to go. Interesting to see if they will combine to try and stop him, because Partygate committee could really screw it up further for the Tories. Sensible option for them would be Sunak or Mordaunt, working together with Hunt and Shapps. But this is the conservative party, they are dangerous radicals who spit in the face of conserving anything these days.
