What an inspiring video. He speaks out against the establishment and their vested interests. And he should know - they spent years trying to discredit him when he was leader, and sadly the forces of capital succeeded getting their man in to be leader of the opposition. m.youtube.com |

Originally named 'the festival is Brexit' has turned out to be massive flop, waste of money and, it turns out not really wanted by anyone. Ok, so who's going first.... |

IFS saying that the gov needs to cut all budgets except health and defence by 15%. Oh, and the B of E is intervening in the markets again to protect the country's financial stability. It's all going swimmingly. |

What was the budget for the 'Festival of brexit', and how does that compare to the £15m that the Govt doesn't want to spend on public energy advice?

Festival of Brexit cost £120m Like everything Brexit touches, it turns to shit. I'm all for spending on the arts, but anything celebrating Brexit needs its head examining. I'm sure it came out of the £350m/week that was supposed to go to the NHS. |

I'm guessing that that original quote from Fields. It's a highly selective telling of the facts from my reading. The BBC article has more neutral reporting. bbc.co.uk Should be noted that Fields neglected to say that Mr Athwal was cleared of the allegations. |

For the amusement of my fellow Tory-detesters in this thread, may I recommend this superb bit of writing about the conference? gq-magazine.co.uk
