I’ll have to discuss that word with my colleague Laura Cocks.

Tonight was speaking to an older retired lady at a social who said “well Boris did get us out of Europe; led a successful Covid strategy and stopped immigrants from coming into the country”....bite my tongue, bite my tongue, bite my tongue

bbc.co.uk Scroll to the Stars front page for his actual legacy. Also, love the Metro.. What I'd really like to see, once the Tories are gone is an actual investigation into Johnson and things like Russian influence in Brexit was he complicit in that and was his behaviour criminal? Similarly did his actions around awarding contracts during COVID amount to fraud, the whole wallpaper thing was that bribery etc etc etc, basically this prick has been so damaging I want to see him put under a forensic microscope to find out just how bent he really has been. |

And a spell at Her Majesty's pleasure! That would be fitting, and a little ironic. Not so sure you're allowed to pick your own wallpaper in a cell. |

I’m not sure the issue with Bojo staying on over the summer. He won’t be seen anyway, he’ll be spaffing his way round tropical islands owned by oligarchs, plotting his future. Westminster as a whole shuts down until the autumn. Just leadership contests for tories and labour to keep politics ticking over.

A solid 16.3% turnout for my local council election yesterday. A north east mining town with my ward being one of the more generally deprived areas. Of the 6 comments on the Facebook Post announcing the winner, one of them says that they would have voted if there had been a tory candidate.

If I was thinking about sending my offspring to Eton, I'd be having serious second thoughts. Last two male PM's we've had haven't exactly been a ringing endorsement for the place, have they? |
